The sustainable human capital management major in the second degree program enables students to gain in-depth knowledge of personnel management in the context of contemporary economic, social and environmental challenges. The program integrates the areas of human resource management, organizational psychology, labor law, personnel policy and the concept of sustainable development, creating a unique approach to educating future HR leaders and professionals. Special emphasis is placed on developing an awareness of social responsibility, ethical leadership and the role of the human being as a key resource of the organization.
Students learn to plan and implement comprehensive human capital management strategies that combine business goals with concern for employee well-being, diversity and the long-term development of the organization. They develop the analytical and interpersonal competencies necessary to shape organizational culture, conduct effective social dialogue, and create incentive systems and employee evaluations. An important element of the program is also the formation of entrepreneurial attitudes - students learn to take initiatives, create innovative HR solutions and manage projects that support the development of the organization in a dynamically changing market environment.
The program of study places particular emphasis on the development of managerial and leadership competencies necessary when working with people and teams. Students learn effective communication, conflict resolution, change management, as well as how to build relationships based on trust and cooperation. Classes are conducted in the form of workshops, case studies, team projects and internships, allowing students to actively gain experience in a realistic professional context. Cooperation with the business environment and labor market institutions also plays a significant role, allowing students to learn about current trends and needs of the HR industry.
A graduate of the second degree program is comprehensively prepared to work in human resources and HR departments, consulting companies, public institutions, non-governmental organizations and modern companies focused on sustainable development. He is qualified to perform roles as a specialist, manager, and advisor in the field of human capital management, as well as to conduct independent projects in the field of personnel policy. He is also prepared to take on the role of HR Business Partner, who supports managers in making strategic decisions about people, connects business goals with employee needs and co-creates organizational value in a responsible and long-term manner.
